Trinity Rea

Sports and writing were the first things in my life that I truly came to love.

From a young age, I always sat in front of the TV, analyzing basketball games and writing about what I saw. It wasn't until later in my life that I realized I could make a career out of this passion.

This propelled me to Ball State University, where I graduated with my BA in Journalism. Working with Ball State's newspaper, The Daily News, as a beat reporter, Associate News Editor, and as the Print Managing Editor was very rewarding. I am also heavily involved with Ball Bearings Magazine and served on its executive board as a Co-Associate Editor, and now I currently serve as the magazine's Executive Editor.

Though I came into this profession due to sports, I have fallen in love with community reporting and serving those who do not otherwise have a voice.   

Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in Emerging Media Design and Development, but after college, I would love to continue my journalistic work in every capacity and continue important, local journalism that begins to change the lives of community members.
